Stress
is not good for your health. Our stress response has evolved from the need
to be up to the task. Too much stress over too long a period of time can
have negative consequences. We need to manage our stress down to
appropriate levels so we can use it for its intended purpose. CustomSoft
took a survey on Stress Management which is very helpful to you. Following are
some points regarding Stress Management.
Ask for Help
If
you feel like your stress is starting to affect your health then you have
to talk with someone. Family and friends may have a pearl of wisdom or two
to share, or maybe just an ear to listen.
You have to identify
the causes of your stress
Take
a step back and look at what's causing your stress. List your stressors out
in order of biggest effect to smallest. Identify the top one, and take it
on and take action.
Practice good time management
Doing one thing at a time is much more efficient
and gets better results. Spend a few minutes each evening going over your list
and determining your tasks for tomorrow. In the morning, go over the list
and get started. Break tasks up into smaller chunks and take them on one
at a time. Don't multitask.
Take time out and get some rest
When you're stressed then take a
time out and get some rest. Take a walk, have a cup of tea, meditate. You'll
return refreshed and ready to tackle the tasks of the day.
Get some Exercise
This works to manage stress on many
levels. It gives a much needed break from the stressors of the day. It
improves your sleep. It improves your overall health.
CustomSoft values its Employees and helps them to
reduce their stress by conducting some sessions and activities on Stress Management.
